Creative Communications Social Group In-Person
Creative Communication:
A social group for folks with memory change & their care partners
WHO: Do any of the following describe you or someone you care about?
- I find it hard to speak/write but I want to find a way to preserve my life story.
- I would enjoy passing on my story to younger family members.
- Changes in my memory have made it difficult to share my thoughts.
- I want to explore creative expression without pressure, I have so much I want to share!
- I want to communicate with others in a judgement free space.
- I want to connect to other people and care partners who understand memory loss, who have a shared life experience.
- I find it challenging to find time for myself and/or find time to socialize.
- I am aged 55+ with memory changes or I am an adult caring for someone who is aged 55+.
WHAT: In this program led by two local speech pathologists experienced with person-centered memory care, you will use tools to help you find new ways to tell your story through speech, writing, painting, drawing and collage. Care partners will be welcome to participate and enjoy time connecting over refreshments.
