De Cierta Manera /One Way or Another
A landmark 1977 Cuban film by Sara Gómez that masterfully blends documentary and fiction to explore post-revolutionary Cuban society, focusing on the conflicting realities of class, race, and pervasive machismo through the relationship of a progressive teacher, Yolanda, and a working-class factory worker, Mario, as their worlds collide amidst social change in Havana's changing neighborhoods.
