Hands-on Ecology Series - Restoring Life to Landscapes In-Person

This talk introduces the idea of restoration horticulture — how gardeners can act as ecological healers by rebuilding soil life, fostering biodiversity, and working with natural processes. Erik will share stories from his fieldwork showing how small-scale interventions can restore ecological function and beauty

 

Erik Vegeto is a horticulturist and educator based in Western Massachusetts. Through his work with Earth Gardeners, he helps people restore biodiversity and beauty to managed landscapes. He holds a B.S. in Plant & Soil Science from UMass Amherst and brings years of field experience to his teaching.
